COOKIE POLICY

This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies can be used on the SYLA Atelier Odoo website. It is written for the migrated Odoo environment and therefore does not assume that Shopify-specific cookies remain in use.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text record stored by a browser or device. Cookies can keep a session active, remember preferences, protect a transaction, measure website usage or support embedded third-party services.

Cookie categories

Necessary cookies: required for core functions such as session security, cart, checkout, account access, language or consent choices.
Preference cookies: remember optional settings selected by the visitor.
Analytics/performance cookies: may be used, when enabled and permitted, to understand website traffic and performance.
Marketing/third-party cookies: can be set by optional advertising, social or embedded-media services after the required consent.

Embedded media

Editorial pages can contain YouTube videos. Odoo can block third-party iframe domains until the relevant consent/settings allow them. If a video is replaced in the Website Editor with another provider, that provider's cookie and privacy practices may apply.

How long cookies remain

Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiry date or until they are removed. Exact lifetimes depend on the Odoo configuration and any optional analytics, payment or media providers enabled on the site.

Managing cookies

You can use the website's available consent controls and your browser settings to allow, refuse or remove non-essential cookies. Disabling necessary cookies can prevent cart, login or checkout functionality from working correctly.

Changes to this policy

The cookie list and providers can change when website features are added or removed. This policy should be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, payment or embedded-media services are changed in Odoo.
